LHC Starts on Crystal Day
Is it merely a co-incidence or is science once again following science-fiction? Whatever it is, there is no doubt that the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) started running again today, after 2 years of repairs and renewals, on the very day which has become known as “Crystal Day” from it’s featuring in the epic story “Time Crystal”.
Admittedly this has happened 3 years after the actual Crystal Day, which was 5 April 2012, but it’s still a special day for CERN and for the author.
Note that, astonishingly, collisions actually started on Crystal Day in 2012, as I had postulated many years before when creating the plot for Time Crystal!
