As revealed in Volume 2 of Time Crystal (The Time Tunnel), a group of beings from outside our Universe, called Argolaths, are trying to reach Earth in order to mate with human women. They hope thereby to create a hybrid race which, they believe, will have divine characteristics.

Naturally this will raise consternation and fear among the population on Earth when they hear about it in future volumes of Time Crystal. The group who will be most concerned will be Femmilie, a group of Genevan feminists who, even before this terrible news, have taken radical steps to address what they regard as the profound inequality of women in Swiss society.

I would like to emphasise that this group is purely fictional and has no relationship with any feminist group, in Geneva or elsewhere.

I am hoping that by creating this group, I can use the extreme situations in which the Time Crystal characters find themselves to explore some of the profound and difficult issues arising from the unfair and unequal treatment of women in this, the real world.
