Some of the story takes place in the Chateau de Peney in 1536, when the Chateau was burnt down by the citizens of Geneva. In its place there now stands the Chateauvieux, near which is a small chapel and the following signage, erected in 1986 on the 450th anniversary of the Reformation in Geneva.
